The Ultimate Soft, TMJ Friendly Food – Crockpot Meatloaf!

Melt in Your Mouth Meatloaf
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs
2/3 cup bread crumbs – seasoned
2 teaspoons dried minced onion (or fresh would be fine too!)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sage
1 1/2 pounds ground chuck beef (or your preferred type of ground beef)
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar (light)
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1. In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble beef over
mixture and mix well. Do not squeeze. Shape into a loaf (it needs to be round since it is going in the crockpot) and place in a 5 quart slow cooker. Cover, then cook on low for five to six hours.
We recommend this Cuisinart PSC-350 3-1/2-Quart Programmable Slow Cooker – it’s great!
2. In a small bowl, whisk the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard and
Worcestershire sauce. Brush on top of the meat loaf. Cook 15 more minutes in crockpot.
3. Let stand for 15 minutes before cutting.
Enjoy!

  1. TMJ patients know of pain and sufferings so much. Why would they inflict pain by killing innocent cows and buffaloes to satisfy their taste buds. I am sorry this is not tmj friendly.TMJ sufferers understand the pain of one and all. Please don’t kill animals. Your tmj pain will get aggravated.

  2. LOL, are you insane? To each their own, but suggesting that eating meat will aggravate jaw pain due to the sole fact that it’s killing animals is ridiculous. It did make me laugh, though! Cheers!

  3. The time is not appropriate for you to understand the gravity and sensitivity of TMJ sufferings. You really have to suffer to understand the pain of others.
